When leaving your home for a long weekend or extended vacation, simply enter a 4-digit PIN to put your home in away mode. This sets your lighting to mimic occupancy, with some turning on at sunset and off at sunrise. It also reduces your home’s HVAC system activity, saving both heating and cooling expenses, and it arms your security system’s interior and perimeter burglary sensor.
While you’re gone, you can always check in and can make necessary adjustments, such as granting someone entry to the home.
